Lillian K. "Lollie" Bromen, age 97, of Sauk Centre, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at the CentraCare Health Nursing Home in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, September 23 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre with Rev. Greg Paffel officiating and Rev. Tom Mboya concelebrating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at the upper gathering area at church in Sauk Centre.

Lillian Katherine Ceynar was born May 6, 1919 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota to Winfield and Mary (Meyer) Ceynar. She married Francis "Bud" Bromen on July 15, 1941 at St. Paul's Catholic Church. She was a lifelong resident of Sauk Centre. Lollie worked as a Lab Tech at St. Michael's Hospital in Sauk Centre for a few years. She loved to bake, cook, and entertain. She was also a great bridge player and was part of a bridge club for many years. In her past time she enjoyed reading and needlework. Lollie loved spending time with her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were a very important part of her life.

Lollie was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Christian Mothers, and Daughters of Isabella. She also volunteered at the church quite often and was a Eucharistic Minister.

Survivors include her children, Dr. Kenneth (Jessica) Bromen of Solon Springs, WI and Carol (Dale) Emmel of Sauk Centre; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and sister, Margaret DuBois of Sauk Centre.

Lollie was preceded in death by her husband, Francis "Bud" Bromen on October 15, 1998; parents, Winfield and Mary Ceynar; brother, Julian Ceynar; and sister, Doris Bromen.

Serving as casket bearers will be Greg Bromen, John Bromen, Sam Burns, Tom Emmel, David Emmel, and Mark Emmel. Cross bearer will be Ruth Burns. Gift bearers will be Dale and Carol Emmel. Mass servers will be Benjamin Emmel and Elizabeth Emmel.

Arrangements were made with Patton-Schad Funeral & Cremation Services of Sauk Centre.
