Kimberly Vearrier

Kimberly A. Vearrier, age 55 of Sauk Centre, died peacefully Tuesday, April, 7, 2015 at St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota surrounded by her family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 17 at Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre. Rev. Timothy Sutton will officiate with interment following in St. Paul's Cemetery in Sauk Centre.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home in Sauk Centre

Kimberly Ann Veeder was born February 25, 1960 in Strasbourg, France to Richard and Arlene (Lentz). While her dad served in the U.S. Army the family resided in France and Arizona. They moved to Sauk Centre in 1964. She was a 1978 graduate of Sauk Centre High School. She was married to James Vearrier on April 25, 1992 at St. Paul's Catholic Church and later divorced. During and after high school Kim worked as a waitress at the Ding Dong Café, Hayloft, and River's Edge Restaurant which her parent's owned.

Kim enjoyed playing bingo, antiquing, and collecting Santa Claus figurines.

Kim was a former member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.

Survivors include her son, Joseph Vearrier; brother and sisters, Jacqueline (Lawrence) Smith of Eagan, John (friend, Amy Bertram) Veeder of Sauk Centre, Pamela Thompson (friend, Pedro Sarmiento) of St. Cloud, and Kathryn Spencer of Wausau, Wisconsin; nieces and nephews, Rachel Amundson, Katelyn and Chelsea Spencer, Christopher and Megan Veeder, and Nicole Thompson; aunts, Jo Ann (Jim) Fynboh of Sauk Centre and Janice (Howard) Majerus of Osakis; godmother and aunt, Doreen Lentz of Sauk Centre.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Arlene Veeder; grandparents; uncles, Jerome Lentz and Melvin Rolfes; and brother-in-law, Kip Spencer.

Casket bearers will be James Vearrier, John Veeder, Lawrence Smith, Dale Rolfes, Jim Fynboh, and Pedro Sarmiento.
