Kim K. Bogard-Imdieke, age 56 of Albany, died on Saturday, June 25, 2016 surrounded by her family at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 1 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Farming Township with Rev. Fred Kutter officiating. Interment will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Farming Township.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church.
Kimberly Kae Bogard was born November 10, 1959 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota to Albert and Isabel (Lemke) Bogard. She graduated from Albany High School in 1978. On July 3, 1992 she married Harvey Imdieke in Alexandria. She was a member of the Local 49ers Union for 11 ½ years doing road construction. She then worked at Tani Division in Albany. She had a passion for woodworking and made a lot of things for the church and her friends. Some of her favorite pastimes include snowmobiling, watching car racing, being outdoors, fishing, camping, and sitting by a fire. Kim enjoyed being involved in pool and bowling leagues in Albany, and most of all, she enjoyed being barefoot or wearing her flippers.
Kim was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Farming Township.
Survivors include her husband, Harvey Imdieke of Albany; son, Jordan (Alli) Bogard of Albany; step-children, Ryan (Cortney) Imdieke of Belgrade, Lori (Jason) Eich of Sartell, and Jeremy Imdieke of New Munich; five grandchildren; sister and brothers, Jeanette "Jan" Grunert of St. Cloud, Dennis Bogard of Albany, Terry Bogard of Albany, twin brother, Jay (Julie) Bogard of Albany; and five nieces.
Kim was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Brad Lee Imdieke; and brother-in-law, Ron Grunert.
Serving as casket bearers will be Jordan Bogard, Jay Bogard, Dennis Bogard, Terry Bogard, Leah Kellen, and April Bogard.
