Kenneth Lene

Kenneth A. Lene, age 82 of Grey Eagle, died Monday, May 28, 2007 at St. Michael's Hospital in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.

Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 2 at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Grey Eagle with Rev. Ron Tibbetts officiating.

Friends may call from 1 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home in Grey Eagle.Kenneth Lene was born November 27, 1924 in Minnesota to Ole and Laura Lene. On November 14, 1962 he married Frances Walker in Minneapolis. He was the most handsome man, inside and out. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

Survivors include his loving daughter, Carol Lene of Spring Lake Park; two grandchildren, Amos and Tanya Johnson; two great-grandchildren; brother and sisters, Leroy, Lorraine, Shirley, Barbara and Mina; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Frances Lene on June 27, 2006; two infant daughters; brother, Archie; sisters, Judy, Bonnie, and Gladys; and pet dog, Jakey.
