Kenneth A. "Ken" Krebsbach, age 68 of Lacombe, Louisiana passed away Monday, November 2, 2015 at his home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 7 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. Rev. Greg Paffel will officiate with interment following in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre. Parish prayers will be at 5 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.

Ken was born in Melrose, Minnesota and lived in the Louisiana area for most of his life. After completing high school in 1965 at Sauk Centre High School in Sauk Centre, Ken attended vocational technical school in Alexandria. Ken worked at the Farmer's Co-Op in Sauk Centre where he met his wife Janet Van Beck. The couple was married August 23, 1969 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Greenwald. They then moved on to become the owners of Krebsbach Plumbing and Heating in Osakis. In 1982 Ken and Jan moved the family to New Orleans, Louisiana and Ken began his career in construction with Johnson Brothers Corporation. He worked his way up to Project Superintendent over several bridge and heavy construction projects located in New Orleans, Alexandria, Shreveport and Crowley, Louisiana. After 25 years at Johnson Brothers, Ken moved on to James Construction and eventually to the Deep Foundations Division of Cajun Industries, LLC where Ken finished up his career working on several post Hurricane Katrina flood retention projects and other industrial works.

Ken was the loving husband of the late Janet V. Krebsbach for 39 years; she passed away on September 10, 2008. He was the devoted father of Scott K. Krebsbach (Janna) of League City, Texas, Nancy K. Munguia (Richard) of Katy, Texas, Kristen Krebsbach of Lacombe, Louisiana, Craig M. Krebsbach (Colleen) of Crestview, Florida, Todd P. Krebsbach (Jennifer) of Haughton, Louisiana and Kenneth D. Krebsbach and his fiancé (Melissa Krider) of Covington, Louisiana, and a deceased son, John Krebsbach.

Son of Barbara (Haller) Krebsbach of Sauk Rapids and the late Theodore Krebsbach. Brother of Donald Krebsbach (Kathy) of St. Cloud, Kathy K. Schahn (Leo) of Fridley, Jean Gamradt (Larry) of Wells, David Krebsbach (Iris) of Osakis, Joyce Lines (Scott) of Anoka and Robert Krebsbach (Colleen) of Annandale.

Grandfather of Paige Werner, Emrie Munguia, Evan Munguia, Corum Krebsbach, Arieanna Krebsbach, Ava Krebsbach and Elise Krebsbach.

Serving as casket bearers will be Don Krebsbach, David Krebsbach, Robert Krebsbach, Jason Krebsbach, Herb Inderrieden, and Steve Inderrieden. Cross bearer will be Corum Krebsbach and scripture bearer will be Evan Munguia.
