Kenneth B. Frericks, age 59 of Wadena formerly of Sauk Centre, died Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at the Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 17 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre with Rev. Todd Schneider officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre. Parish prayers will be held at 6 p.m. Friday evening.

Kenneth Bernard Frericks was born December 19, 1952 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota to Raymond and Lorraine (Austing) Frericks. For the past 23 years he made his home at the Oakridge Home in Wadena. Kenny worked at the Sebeka DAC. He loved to swing and enjoyed a good cup of coffee.

Kenny is survived by his sisters and brother, Dorothy (Jerry) Jorgenson of Fairmont, Gerald "Jerry" (Linda) Frericks of Sauk Centre, Eileen (Ken) Maus of Melrose, Beverly (Mark) Wiechman of St. Rose, Shirley (Mark) Roberg of Sauk Centre, Bonita (Steve) Scholz of Melrose, Luann (Eric) Peterson of Grey Eagle, and Lois (Jesse) Vlaminck of Spicer; many nieces and nephews; honorary mom, Fran Terhaar; and his "family" at the Oakridge Home.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Lorraine Frericks.

Serving as casket bearers will be his sisters, Eileen Maus, Beverly Wiechman, Shirley Roberg, Bonita Scholz, Luann Peterson, and Lois Vlaminck. Cross bearer will be his sister, Dorothy Jorgenson and scripture bearer will be his brother, Gerald Frericks. Serving as honorary casket bearers will be his brothers-in-law, Jerry Jorgenson, Ken Maus, Mark Wiechman, Mark Roberg, Steve Scholz, Eric Peterson, and Jesse Vlaminck; along with his nieces, nephews; sister-in-law, Linda Frericks; honorary mom, Fran Terhaar; and the staff and residents at Oakridge Home.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Oakridge Home in Wadena.
