Julian L. Wiener, age 88 of Sauk Centre, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the Galeon Community Memorial Home in Osakis, Minnesota.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 21 at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Sauk Centre with Rev. Mark Botzet officiating. Inurnment will be in the parish cemetery with military honors by the Sauk Centre United Veterans Honor Guard.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church.
Julian Louis Wiener was born April 14, 1936 on the family farm near Padua, Minnesota to Leonard and Amanda (Spaeth) Wiener. He served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1954. He married the love of his life, Cora Mae Uhlenkamp on October 9, 1956 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Padua, Minnesota. Julian was a farmer, did custom combining, moved mobile homes, and was a long-haul truck driver for most of his life. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather; he will be deeply missed.
Julian loved helping his wife with her flowers and vegetable gardens. He loved to dance the Waltz, play BINGO, listen to music, drive around, read, and spend time with his family. Julian loved to mow lawn and if you knew him, his yard was immaculate. He was a jokester and the king of one liners! Survivors include his children, Marlene Kelly of Sauk Centre, JoAnn (Ned) Kleinschmidt of Glenwood, Timothy (Jeanie) Wiener of Rocklake, North Dakota, Theresa (Delwin) Judes of Sauk Centre, Marcella (Daniel) Christensen of Vermillion, Mary (Bruce) Dawson of Mansfield, Pennsylvania, Nancy (Robert) Peterson of Sauk Centre, Alice Rossi of Sauk Centre, Jonathan Wiener of Sauk Centre, Debbie (Richard) Sonnenfeld of Arlington, Virginia, and Michele (Charles) Bolz of Fargo, North Dakota; 23 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; and sister, Judy Odegard of Sauk Centre.
Julian was preceded in death by his wife, Cora on November 16, 2022; parents; son, Kenneth Wiener; one infant great-grandson; brothers and sister, Celestine “Sally” Schieffer Pawlak, Claude Wiener, and James “Jim” Wiener; son-in-law, William Kelly, Sr.; father and mother-in-law, Carl and Alice Uhlenkamp; and step mother-in-law, Catherine Uhlenkamp.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
