Judtih Kiken

Judith L. Kiken, age 68 of Brooklyn Park, formerly of Sauk Centre, died Friday, January 27, 2012 at her home in Brooklyn Park.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 7 at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre. Rev. Marty Porter will officiate with inurnment following at Greenwood Cemetery.

Friends may call from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre.

Judith Lea Kiken was born July 30, 1943 in Ashley Township, Stearns County, Minnesota to Clarence and Regine (Heidemann) Kiken. She graduated from Sauk Centre High School. After graduation, Judith moved to the twin cities where she continued her education and began working as an administrative assistant.

She enjoyed reading and doing jigsaw puzzles. Judith loved spending time with family, especially returning to Sauk Centre to visit her aunt Mart, who was a like second mother to her and her brother Duane.

Survivors include her brother, Gary Kiken of San Jose, California; aunt, Martha "Mart" McIntyre of Sauk Centre; and many loving relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Regine Kiken; brother, Duane Kiken; and many aunts and uncles.
