Joseph Ebben

Joseph M. Ebben, age 86 of Sauk Centre, died Saturday, July 16, 2005 at his home.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, July 20 at 11 a.m. at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre. Rev. Todd Schneider will officiate with inurnment following in St. Paul's Cemetery.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Joe Ebben was born July 15, 1919 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota to Henry and Julia (Muellner) Ebben and was a life long resident of Sauk Centre. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. For many years he had been employed at the Melrose Produce, now Jennie-O Turkey Store, in Melrose. He was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church. Joe enjoyed playing cards, gardening and attending funerals.

Survivors include a sister, Mary Niedhart of Sauk Rapids; brother, Henry Ebben, Jr. of Sauk Centre; several nieces, nephews and cousins; many great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Wilfred and Leander Ebben.
