Jeffery Schumacher

Jeffery F. Schumacher, age 40 of Sauk Rapids, died on Tuesday, November 11, 2003 from injuries received in an automobile accident in Sauk Rapids Township, Benton County, Minnesota.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 15 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. Rev. Todd Schneider will officiate with interment following in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and 8 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre. Parish prayers will be at 8 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home in Sauk Centre.

Jeff Schumacher was born January 18, 1963 in Melrose, Minnesota to Roger and Marion (Cokely) Schumacher. He was a 1981 graduate of Melrose High School. He was a former employee of Woodcraft Industries and ServiceMaster, both of St. Cloud. He was currently employed as a painter by AJM Painting of Foley. Jeff enjoyed hunting and fishing, scuba diving and rock climbing and was an amateur photographer.

Survivors include his mother, Marion Schumacher of Sauk Centre; sisters, Kim (Brian) Polingo of Becker and Joanie (Mark) Sobotka of Hutchinson; two step-daughters; six nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Schumacher.

Serving as casket bearers will be Jim Messerich, John Ellering, Chris Sieben, Dirk Crider, Scott and Todd Fisher. Cross bearer will be Adam Hollermann and scripture bearer will be Heidi Hollermann.
