Jeanette Orth

Jeanette K. Orth, age 88 of Sauk Centre, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 18 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Sauk Centre with Rev. Jeremy Theis officiating.  Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church.

Jeanette Katherine Orth was born August 30, 1933 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota to Herman and Elizabeth (Winters) Kemper. On August 7, 1956 she married Donald Orth at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre and the couple farmed in Sauk Centre Township for 17 years. Jeanette worked at First State Bank in Sauk Centre for a number of years and then at Elrosa State Bank until her retirement.

She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre and the Christian Mothers. Jeanette enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Maureen Laube of Foley, son, Joel (Brenda) Orth of Avon; grandsons, Shaun Beilke of Sauk Centre and Donald "DJ" Orth (fiancé, Jen Hommerding) of Avon; and great-grandson, Keagan Mikel of Sauk Centre.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Orth on June 10, 2012; parents; sisters, Eileen Jennissen and Sister Marian Kemper; and son-in-law, Scott Laube.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
