Jean LeClair

Jean J. LeClaire, age 70 of Sauk Centre, died Monday, December 17, 2012 at his home in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 21 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Munich with Rev. Roger Klassen, O.S.B. officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Waite Park.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Jean Jerome LeClaire was born October 18, 1942 in Melrose, Minnesota to Louis and Ottillia (Scherer) LeClaire. He graduated from Melrose High School in 1963. Jean lived in Waite Park until moving to Sauk Centre in 2004. He attended both Catholic Churches in Sauk Centre. Jean enjoyed traveling and repairing religious artifacts and was an artist who loved to draw and paint.

Survivors include his brothers and sister, Dave (Ann) LeClaire of Hutchinson, Pete (Toni) LeClaire of Melrose, Cathy (Donnie) Pelka of St. Wendell, Richard (Nina) LeClaire of Monticello, Basil (Sharon) LeClaire of Brainerd, and Reuben LeClaire of New Munich; and many nieces and nephews.

Jean was preceded in death by his parents; and four brothers.
