Janet Dwyer

Janet M. Dwyer, age 74 of Sauk Centre passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at CentraCare Health Hospital in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 20, 2016 at the Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Sauk Centre with Father Jeremy Theis presiding. Interment will take place at St. Paul's Cemetery in Sauk Centre, MN.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 19th at Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre and 9 to 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 20th at the funeral home prior to the service at the church. Parish prayers will be said at 6 p.m. Sunday evening.

Janet Marvilla Dwyer, daughter of Hilda (Feldewerd) and John Michael Dwyer was born on October 26, 1941 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota. Janet grew up in Sauk Centre and graduated from Sauk Centre High School in 1959. She can be remembered as a very quiet person who lived with her sister, Christine and brother, Dick throughout her entire life. Gardening at their home was a favorite pastime. Janet worked as a housekeeper for families in Sauk Centre as well as some businesses in town. She continued to work until her death. Celebrating with her family at graduations, weddings, anniversaries and family reunions was something that brought her great joy.

Janet was a member of the St. Paul's Catholic Church of Sauk Centre, Minnesota.

She is survived by her siblings, John Dwyer of Brooklyn Park, Christine Dwyer of Sauk Centre, and Richard "Dick" Dwyer of Sauk Centre as well as nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, John in 1978 and Hilda in 2000; brother, Bernard Dwyer; sister, Marina Vickerman; sisters-in-law, Rosie Dwyer and Mary Dwyer; and brother-in-law, Cliff Vickerman.
