Jane G. Hoeschen, age 83 of Sauk Centre, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at CentraCare Health Nursing Home in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre with Rev. Jeremy Theis and Rev. Andrew Marthaler officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre. Parish prayers will be at 5 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.

Jane Gertrude Weisser was born August 25, 1931 in Elrosa, Minnesota to John and Catherine (Kueffler) Weisser. On April 24, 1951 she married Aloys Hoeschen at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Sauk Centre, where the couple then resided. She worked at Swift and Company for many years and then at St. Michael's Hospital until her retirement in 1979. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and Christian Mothers.

Jane looked most forward to spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and visiting with friends. She will be remembered for the many cards she sent to her friends and relatives to mark all occasions. She was an excellent baker and cook and enjoyed ceramics. Faith was important to Jane and she faithfully prayed the rosary several times each day.

Survivors include her husband, Aloys "Allie" Hoeschen of Sauk Centre; two children, Michael (Kathi) Hoeschen and Mary (David) Walters, both of Sauk Centre; two grandchildren, Chad Hoeschen and Stacey Lhotka; and three great-grandchildren, Jameson McAdoo, Joseph Hoeschen, and Jada McAdoo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Nancy Hoeschen in 1969; brothers, Cyril & Bonnie Weisser; sisters, Grace Mentes and Bertha Blair.

Serving as casket bearers will be Chad Hoeschen, Jim Blair, Danny and Kevin Weisser, Kenny Hoeschen, Mike Kosanke, and Larry Hartigan. Cross bearer will be Jameson McAdoo and scripture bearer will be Joseph Hoeschen. Honorary bearers will be Janet Schreifels, Dorothy "Butch" Hoeschen, Bernie Korte, Sheila Rutten, Toni Wiener, Alberta Otte, and Pat Weisser.
