Jane A. Boyer, age 70, of Sauk Centre, died peacefully on Friday, August 4, 2017 at CentraCare Health Nursing Home in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 19 at Little Sauk-Long Bridge Lutheran Church in Little Sauk Township with Rev. Steve Hilde officiating. Inurnment will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church in Little Sauk Township.
Jane Alpha Boyer was born April 21, 1947 in Little Sauk Township, Todd County, Minnesota to Ernest and Edna (Buan) Boyer. She graduated from Sauk Centre High School in 1964. Upon graduation and throughout the years, Jane worked at American Linen and West Publishing in St. Paul, NW Bell Telephone, St. Michael's Hospital and Hi-Ho Café in Sauk Centre. Jane also spent several years caring for both of her parents. Jane had a love for crocheting in her free time.
Jane was a member of Little Sauk-Long Bridge Lutheran Church in Little Sauk Township and the Ladies Auxiliary for St. Michael's Hospital in Sauk Centre.
Survivors include her siblings, Helen Boyer of Rosemount, Dean (Gail) Boyer of Swanville, Robert (Patty) Boyer of Sauk Centre, Margaret Strobeck of Sauk Centre, Mary (LuVerne) Hoffman of Kensington, and Linda Boyer of Maple Grove; and many nieces and nephews.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Edna; and brothers-in-law, Norman Strobeck and Al Curtis.
