James Tiemann

James A. "Jim" Tiemann, age 67 of Sauk Centre, died Tuesday, May 18, 2010 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.

Private services will be held at a later date followed by entombment at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls.

James Anton Tiemann was born February 26, 1943 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota to Henry, Jr. and Dorothy (Kortenbush) Tiemann. Jim graduated from Sauk Centre High School in 1961. He served three years in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. Jim worked at Mid-Con in Sauk Centre for 15 years. He loved the outdoors and liked to hunt. His favorite pastime was drinking coffee with his friends.

Survivors include his son, Daniel; sisters, JoAnn (Jerry) Marthaler of Alexandria and Karen (Bob) Kampsen of Elrosa; sister-in-law, Bonnie Tiemann of Sauk Centre; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Henry, Jr. and Dorothy Tiemann; and brother, Tom Tiemann.
