James H. "Jamie" Clear, age 35, of Brooklyn Park, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at his home in Brooklyn Park.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 13 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Grey Eagle with Pastor Ron Tibbetts officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Grey Eagle.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
James Howard Clear was born August 24, 1974 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota to James "Jim" and Gloria (Canfield) Clear. On August 23, 1997 he was united in marriage to Charlene Eich at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Grey Eagle. Jamie graduated from Grey Eagle High School in 1992 and then attended St. Cloud State University where he received a degree in Finance & Economics. Jamie worked at Piper Jaffray in Minneapolis until November of 2009 and currently was employed at Ameriprise in Minneapolis. Jamie's greatest love was his family, especially spending time with and being a daddy to his two boys. He also enjoyed the outdoors, 4-wheeling, and being on the computer.
Survivors include his wife, Charlene Clear of Brooklyn Park; sons, Benjamin and Joshua both at home; sisters, Marilyn (Norb) Steinemann of Little Falls, Shirley (Jim) Nies of Grey Eagle, and Bonnie Clear of Grey Eagle; many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Jamie was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Gloria Clear; sisters, Wendy Clear-Goodale and Susan Froemming; and niece, Kaycie Nies.
Serving as casket bearers will be Jason Hadley, Shaun Roering, Alex Steinemann, Adam Roering, Travis Hadlestad, Michael Nies, and Adam Luberda. Honorary bearers will be Kendra Nies, Kirsten Nies, Meghan Froemming, Fallon Froemming, and Janell VanKovering.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
