Isaac Funk

Isaac Arthur Funk, infant son of Chad and Janice Funk, of Melrose, died in the arms of his mom and dad, surrounded by family on January 1, 2008 at the St. Cloud Area Hospital in St. Cloud.

Funeral Service will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, January 12 at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose with Rev. Tom Becker officiating. Interment will be held at St. John's Cemetery in Meire Grove following the service.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose.

Isaac Arthur Funk was born on December 31, 2007, to Chad and Janice (Wehlage) Funk.

Survivors include his parents, Chad and Janice; twin brother Luke; grandparents, Arthur and Mary Kay Funk of Melrose, Norm and Tillie Wehlage of Sauk Centre; great-grandparents, Beatrice Funk of New Munich, and Ray Worms of Melrose; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents Edward Funk, Frances Worms, Henry and Mary Wehlage, and Bernard and Rose Olmscheid.

Serving as casket bearers will be his grandfathers, Arthur Funk and Norm Wehlage.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
