Herbert Muellner

Herbert D. Muellner, Sr., age 65 of Burtrum died Monday, July 17, 2006 at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington as a result of injuries received in a semi-truck accident.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 24 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Grey Eagle with Rev. Ron Dockendorf officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call Sunday from 3 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Grey Eagle. Parish prayers will be at 8 p.m. Sunday evening at the church.Herbert Muellner, Sr. was born Sept. 8, 1940 in St. Rosa, Minnesota to Alfred and Oswalda (Hoppe) Muellner. He married Mary A. Engel on Aug. 7, 1971 in Melrose, Minnesota. They lived in Burtrum where he owned & operated Circle M Trucking, Inc. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Grey Eagle. Herb loved spending time with family and friends and visiting with anyone. He especially loved his grandson, Troy.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Muellner of Burtrum; daughters, Jennifer Ahrendt (Randall) of Burturm and Jessica Muellner of Burturm; brothers and sisters, Barbara Connors (Donald) of Plymouth, Ervin Muellner (Sharon) of Burtrum, David Mueller of Burturm and Susanna Tesch (Timothy) of Grey Eagle; and one grandson, Troy Muellner.

He was preceded in death by his sons, Daniel H. Muellner in 1974, Herbert D. Muellner, Jr. in 2003; parents, Alfred and Oswalda Muellner; and brothers, Bernard and Raymond Muellner.

Casket bearers will be Joe and Kelly Muellner, Brian Mills, Tim Connors, and Paul J. and Bill Engel. Serving as cross bearer is Jim Muellner and scripture bearer is Michelle Allen. Honorary bearers include Bob Ahrens, Terry Bowen, Pete DeSmett, Rick Leukam, Mike Rohde, Eddy Walker, Richard Muellner, Kenny Rahn, Steve Ahrens, Ray Bense, Leroy Ahrens, Mark Rosenow, Jeff Ahrens, Herb's trucker buddies and close friends.
