Helen G. Bieringer, age 94 of Sauk Centre, died peacefully surrounded by family Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at St. Michael's Nursing Home in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 24 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. Rev. Todd Schneider and Rev. Sylvester Kleinschmidt will concelebrate. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday and 8 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre. Parish prayers will be held at 7 p.m. followed by Christian Mothers at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Helen Bieringer was born on May 23, 1912 to Henry and Susan (Lenars) Marx in Collegeville Township, Stearns County, Minnesota. On November 27, 1934 she was united in marriage to Carl Bieringer at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre, Minnesota. They farmed in Raymond Township until moving into Sauk Centre in 1966. Helen volunteered at the senior dining center and was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and Christian Mothers.Helen loved gardening, baking, cooking and her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Marie (Joseph) Weinmann of Belgrade, Alice Winters of Andover, Anthony (Cecelia) Bieringer of Long Prairie, Betty Jane Felling of Belgrade, Larry (Helen) Bieringer of Eden Prairie and Donald (Niyada) Bieringer of Sauk Centre; 18 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and brother, Albert (Winifred) Marx of Proctor.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl Bieringer on July 7, 1995; son-in-law, Gary Felling; brothers, Robert, Lambert, Frank and Leo Marx; and sisters, Loraine Rachac and Eleanor Hengemuhle.

Serving as casket bearers will be Bruce, Bryan, Mark and Gary Felling, Steven, Patrick and Paul Winters, Mike and Pat Bieringer, Todd and Tom Weinmann. Cross bearer will be Melissa Leen and Scripture Bearer will be Sarah Weinmann Sandhu. Honorary Bearers include Veronica VanHavermaet, the St. Michael's Nursing Home Staff and St. Paul's Christian Mothers. Serving as gift bearers will be Mary Beth Meyer and Brenda Gasser. Todd Weinmann will serve as lector.
