Gladys Denzer, age 94 of Sauk Centre, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, August 12, 2005 at Mother of Mercy Nursing Home in Albany, Minnesota.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 3 at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre. Inurnment will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
Gladys Denzer was born February 23, 1911 in Perkins County, South Dakota to George Edward and Anna Mary (Heistad) Gunion. She was united in marriage to Charles Denzer on June 30, 1938 at the Assembly of God Church in Sauk Centre. Gladys was a homemaker all her life and was a charter member of the Sauk Centre Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Betty of St. Cloud and Anita (Dan) Saefke of Brooklyn Center; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles on June 2, 2001; brothers, Oscar, Manly and Elmer Gunion; sisters, Mabel Upton, Helen Perlinger and Mamie Perlinger; and great-grandson, John Mathias McDougle.
