George Hoffman

George W. Hoffman, age 70 of Sauk Centre, died Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at Mother of Mercy Nursing Home in Albany, Minnesota.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Monday, February 12 at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre. Rev. Todd Schneider will officiate with interment following in St. Paul's Cemetery.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 12 noon Monday at the funeral home.

George was born June 10, 1936 in Genoa, Wisconsin to George and Eileen Hoffman. On June 30, 1962 he married Ione Adams in Alma, Wisconsin. The couple resided in St. Paul until moving to Sauk Centre in 2002. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Ione Hoffman of Sauk Centre; son, Todd (Charlene) Hoffman of St. Louis Park; two grandchildren, Justin and Ava Rose Hoffman; four sisters, Beverly (Mike) Rouffler of Winona, Susan (Tom) Karger of Wisconsin, Jackie Reisinger of California and Debra (Dave) Chlan of Wisconsin; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Steve Hoffman.
