Frances E. Muellner, age 90 of Grey Eagle died Monday, February 21, 2005 at Pine Villa Care Center in Melrose. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 25 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Grey Eagle with Rev. Arlie Sowada officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Grey Eagle. Christian Mothers and St. Francis/St. Theresa Mission Groups will pray at 7 p.m. followed by parish prayers at 8:30 p.m.
Frances Muellner was born October 14, 1914 in Krain Township, Stearns County, Minnesota to Herman and Anna (Poepping) Denne. She was united in marriage to Adolph Muellner on April 23, 1935 in St. Francis. She was a homemaker all her life. Frances enjoyed her family, gardening, sewing, quilting, reading and playing cards. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Grey Eagle, Christian Mothers and St. Francis/St. Theresa Mission Groups.
Survivors include her children, Ralph Muellner (Marilyn) of Grey Eagle, Margaret Bruggenthies (Al) of Rochester, Georgianna Haller (Don) of Melrose, Jeanette Blaeser (Tom) of Mesa, AZ, Eileen Wallin (Rich) of Roseville, Harry Muellner (Joanie) of Rochester, Elizabeth "Betty" Iberg (Tom) of Edina, Bernadette West of Mounds View and Thom Muellner (Paula) of Grey Eagle; 29 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and one great grandchild due in October; brothers, Clarence Denne, Verner Denne (Vera) and Ervin Denne (special friend, Laverne); sister, Angie Peterson (Alvin); sisters-in-law, Lorraine and Anna Mae.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Adolph Muellner on June 22, 1995; daughter, Carolyn Muellner; sons, Melvin and Tim Muellner; son-in-law, Bruce West; grandchild, Bethany Muellner; brothers, Emil, Ray, Robert, Alfred, Ralph and Gilbert; sister, Ida; sisters-in-law, Betty, Alvina, Hilda, Virginia, Hildegard and Fan.
Serving as casket bearers will be Frances' daughters, Margaret, Georgianna, Jeanette, Eileen, Elizabeth "Betty" and Bernadette. Serving as cross bearer will be Thom Muellner and scripture bearer will be Harry Muellner. Mass server will be Ralph Muellner.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Pine Villa Care Center in Melrose.
