Florence Bushaw

Florence A. Bushaw, age 83 of Sauk Centre, died Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 19 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Melrose. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the church.

Florence Agnes Zinniel was born December 15, 1929 in Melrose, Minnesota to Frank and Lucy (Spengler) Zinniel. After high school, Florence was a Sister at St. Benedict's Convent for 12 years and then became a nurse and worked at Mercy Hospital in Anoka for 26 years. Florence eloped on October 4, 1972 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and was united in marriage to the love of her life, Louis Bushaw on February 7, 1981 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Anoka. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Sauk Centre.

Survivors include her husband, Louis Bushaw of Sauk Centre; sister, Helen Muzzy of Flossmoor, Illinois; Goddaughter, Mary Anderson of St. Cloud; and many loving relatives and friends.

Florence was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Norbert Zinniel; and sisters, Madeline Schmidt, Dorothy Seifert, LaNita Anderson, and Alice Otto.

Arrangements were made with Patton-Schad Funeral & Cremation Services of Melrose.
