Evelyn Fraser

Evelyn L. Fraser, age 88 of Osakis, died Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Golden Living Center in Hopkins, Minnesota.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 30 at Zion Lutheran Church in Sauk Centre with Rev. Marty Porter officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood cemetery.Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre and from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Evelyn Jonas was born December 28, 1923 in Goodhue, Minnesota to Claus and Lydia (Muhlman) Jonas. She was united in marriage to Arlund Fraser on October 21, 1949 in Red Wing, Minnesota. The couple made Osakis their home. Evelyn worked as a beautician for Bernice Kleber in Sauk Centre. In 1970 Evelyn opened Evelyn's Beauty Shop in Sauk Centre where she retired in 2004.

Evelyn was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Evelyn is survived by her children, Timothy (Debra) Fraser of Osakis, Cynthia (Brad) Thielke of Coon Rapids, and Thomas (Connie) Fraser of The Woodlands, Texas; five grandchildren, Ryan and Danielle Fraser, Tara Klaas, and Michael and Patrick Thielke; six great-grandchildren; and brothers, Raymond "Pete", Berdelle "Bert", Donald, Erwin "Butch", and Duane Jonas.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Arlund Fraser on December 16, 1999; sister, Olga Jonas; and brothers, Arnold and Marvin Jonas.

Serving as casket bearers will be Patrick Thielke, Michael Thielke, Bradley Thielke, Jarret Klaas, Ryan Fraser, Timothy Fraser, and Thomas Fraser.
