Evelyn Anderson

Evelyn A. Anderson, age 86 of Grey Eagle, died Saturday, July 14, 2007 at the Long Prairie Memorial Nursing Home in Long Prairie, Minnesota.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 18 at the United Methodist Church in Grey Eagle. Rev. Barbara Lindgren will officiate with inurnment following in Lakeview Cemetery.Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church in Grey Eagle.

Evelyn Anderson was born February 12, 1921 in Grey Eagle, Minnesota to Ralph and Emma (Feierabend) Mueller. She was a life long resident of Grey Eagle. She married to Arthur Anderson and he died in July of 1963. She married Cliff Anderson in December of 1971 and he died in March of 1972. She was a former employee of Fuller's Department Store in Grey Eagle and Kraft Foods in Melrose. For the past eight years she had resided at the Long Prairie Memorial Nursing Home.Evelyn was a member of the United Methodist Church in Grey Eagle. She loved crossword puzzles and animals, especially dogs.

Survivors include two children, Gwen Veeder of Sauk Centre and Harold Anderson of Burtrum; three grandchildren, Tammie (Paul) Froland, Cindy (Tom) Spychala, and George Veeder; and one great-granddaughter, Hannah.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; sisters, Clara Nelson and Sally Martin; and brothers, Richard, Edward, and Ralph Mueller.
