Esther M. Frampton, age 97 of Sartell and formerly of New Munich died Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at the Country Manor Health Care Center in Sartell.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 3 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, New Munich with Rev. Roger Klassen, OSB officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call Friday at the church from 1 to 2 p.m.
Esther Mary Frampton was born June 4, 1907 in New Munich, Minnesota to Herman and Amalia (Ross) Roering. She married Carlyle E. Frampton on October 21, 1931 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Munich. Carlyle passed away in 1967. Esther worked as the housekeeper for Rev. Sylvester L. Gall from 1968 to 1995, living in Elk River for 2 years, Motley for 12 years, Lastrup for 12 years and Country Manor in Sartell for 2 years. She then lived with her son and his family in Largo, Florida from 1995 until moving back to Country Manor in Sartell late in 1995, where she has been a resident since. Esther was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Munich, St. Anne's Christian Mothers and the Divine Word.
Survivors include her son, Lyle Frampton and his wife, Ester of Largo, FL; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Stella Gruenke and her husband, Edward of St. Cloud, and Genevieve Thompson of Melrose; and very special friend, Marilyn Popp of Sauk Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carlyle; brothers, Daniel, Arnold, Othmar and Arthur Roering and sisters, Olivia and Loretta Thielen and Bernadette Roering.
Honorary bearers will be St. Anne's Christian Mothers.
