Elizabeth A. Reznechek, age 82 of Sauk Centre, died Monday, April 17, 2006 at the St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls, Minnesota.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 20 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre with Rev. Todd Schneider officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre. Parish prayers will be held at 5:15 p.m. followed by Christian Mothers at 7 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.

Elizabeth Reznechek was born June 27, 1923 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota to Anthony and Mary (Merten) Bieringer. She married Wilfrid A. Reznechek on October 19, 1943 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. They resided north of Sauk Centre in Sauk Centre Township. Elizabeth was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and Christian Mothers. She enjoyed sewing, reading, gardening, baking and her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Janet Drong of Little Falls, Arnold Reznechek (Delores) of Wadena, Duane Reznechek (Jan) of Annandale, Marie Brand (Steven) of Clover, South Carolina, Carol Reznechek (special friend, Tom Lichtenberg) of Alexandria, Sharon Iverson (Robert) of Glencoe, Donald Reznechek (Cindy) of Granite Falls, Richard Reznechek (Lori Schuette) of Hutchinson, and Deborah "Debbie" Lies (Steve) of Little Falls; 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Ed Bierienger of Sauk Centre and sister, Dorothy Fennell (Don) of Park Rapids.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wilfrid A. Reznechek on January 29, 1989; brothers and sisters, Carl Bieringer, Regine Schieffer, John Bieringer, Rose Ebensteiner, Joe Bieringer, Louise McIntyre, Ben Bieringer, Kay Rousslang, Teresa Califf and Verena Bieringer.

Casket bearers will be Tim and David Drong, Aaron, Nathan, Jason, Adam and Travis Reznechek, Seth Iverson. Cross bearer will be Lisa Lesnau. Scripture bearer will be Sonja Iverson. Honorary bearers will be Shawn Brand and Justin Schuette.

Memorials are preferred to Veterans of Foreign Wars and Catholic Charities.
