Edna B. Clear, age 79 of Burtrum died on Thursday November 27, 2003 at the Long Prairie Memorial Hospital in Long Prairie, Minnesota.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, December 1, 2003 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Grey Eagle with Rev. Ron Tibbetts officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Grey Eagle.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Grey Eagle and Monday one hour prior to the service at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Grey Eagle.
Edna Bell Clear was born on July 2, 1924 in Rushseba Township, Chisago County, Minnesota to Iver and Mathilda (Johnson) Beckman. She was united in marriage to George A. Clear on April 27, 1974 in Mason City, Iowa. Edna worked at the Control Data Corporation and Stearns Manufacturing Company in Grey Eagle, Minnesota for several years. She was a member of the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Grey Eagle. Edna enjoyed gardening, fishing, canning, bowling and hunting deer.
Survivors include her husband, George Clear of Burtrum; daughter, Lois Walker and her husband, Terry of Winnebago, Minnesota; brother, LeRoy Beckman and his wife, Marilyn of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin; one granddaughter, Sherri Utzka of Delevan, Minnesota; 6 great-grandchildren, Bonnie and Raymond III of South St. Paul; Jacob, Carly and Krystle of Delevan, Minnesota and Cheyenne of Amboy, Minnesota.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents, Iver and Mathilda (Johnson) Beckman; sister, Mary Lou Beckman; grandson, Raymond Todd Riemschnieder.
