Dustin Fauskee

Dustin Ross Fauskee, age 32 of Big Lake, Minnesota died unexpectedly on August 4, 2018.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, August 11 at Saint Donatus Catholic Church in Brooten with Father David Grundman presiding.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday at Saint Donatus Catholic Church in Brooten.

Dustin Ross Fauskee was born November 28, 1985 in Glenwood, Minnesota to Erik and Karla (Hinnenkamp) Fauskee. Dustin attended school in Osakis. He enjoyed helping his father at Battle Lake Boat Works. Establishing his tattoo business in 2016, Customer's Ink Tattoo, in Anoka was his pride and joy. Dustin's work has been published in trade magazines and was proud to be the first artist from Minnesota selected to go to a New York City professional event. Dustin was ready to begin a National Tour starting in New York. He entered his tattooing in competitions and received accolades and awards. Along with being a tattooist, he was an accomplished artist, not only in ink drawings, but also with chalk drawings, air brushing, and other mediums. Dustin was a driven, hardworking perfectionist, who loved his family, dirt biking, camping, and being an outdoorsman. With his endearing personality, he made positive impressions on everyone he met. He will truly be missed.

Dustin will be deeply missed by his mother, Karla Edenloff of Osakis; father, Erik (Joan) Fauskee of Litchfield; grandfather, Waldo Fauskee of Brooten; siblings, Nick of Osakis, Shena of Alexandria, and Cooper of Osakis; nieces and nephews, Carter, Chelsi, Kam, and Jaxon; his girlfriend, Katie Partain of Big Lake and her children, Lilli, Elijah, and Sydney; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; and his dog, Jack.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Faye Fauskee, Hubert and Rose Mary Hinnenkamp; and his uncle, Gary Hinnenkamp.

Serving as casket bearers will be Brian Beste, Troy Switajewski, Bill Hinnenkamp, Dylan Hinnenkamp, Darrin Winter, and DJ Winter. Cross bearer will be Debbie Beste and scripture bearer will be Ken Beste.
