Don went to district 53 country school, and at 15 years old went to Morris Agricultural School. Don met Lois at The White Spot Café in 1958. He married his “sweetheart” on April 22nd, 1961. Over the next several years Don operated heavy equipment and then moved on to hauling equipment from job site to job site for Blattner’s. Don is survived by his loving wife of nearly 64 years, Lois (Lindback); three daughters, Denise Olmscheid of Sauk Centre, Melinda (Loren) Kerfeld of Sauk Rapids, and Michelle (Chad) Mohr of Sauk Rapids. He was blessed with eight amazing grandchildren, Bo (Cassidy) Olmscheid, Kelli Olmscheid, Abby (Mat) Hall, Paige (Jason) Rector, Blake (Brianna) Kerfeld, Ryan Mohr, Ali (Maxwell) Hartman, and Megan Mohr. Don was also known as Grandpa GG to eight beautiful great grandchildren, Leighton and Kollins Olmscheid, Mathew and Audrey Hall, Theo and Charlie Rector, Emma Kerfeld, and Blakely Hartman.
