Donald B. Lindeman, age 78 of Sauk Centre, died on Saturday, February 14, 2004 at St. Michael's Nursing Home in Sauk Centre.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 17 at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. Rev. Todd Schneider will officiate with burial following in St. Paul's Cemetery in Sauk Centre.
Friends may call Monday from 3:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre. Parish prayers will be at 5:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home in Sauk Centre.
Donald Lindeman was born on February 9, 1926 in Melrose, Minnesota to Michael and Margaret (Winters) Lindeman. At the age of 12 the family moved to Sauk Centre. He married Marie Zine on October 8, 1970 at St. Mark's Catholic Church in St. Paul. He farmed in Ashley Township, Stearns County until he retired in 2002. He enjoyed playing cards and going for drives. Donald was a resident of St. Michael's Nursing Home in Sauk Centre since December of 2002. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Lindeman of Sauk Centre; brothers and sisters, Norbert Lindeman (Dorothy) of Sauk Centre, Albert Lindeman (Myrna) of Avon, Howard Lindeman (Janet) of Nelson, Vernon Lindeman (Barbara) of Chanhassen, Lorraine Kollman of Sauk Centre and Irene Wolbeck (LeRoy) of Sauk Centre; brother-in-law, James Armstrong of Brook Park; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Erma Armstrong.
Casket bearers will be Rick Cline, Duane Lindeman, Steve and Mark Kollman, Keith Lindeman, Lee Wolbeck, Brad Pauley and Corey Donat. Cross bearer will be Norbert Lindeman and scripture bearer will be Cheryl Cline.Memorials are preferred to Holy Family School in Sauk Centre.
