Dolores M. "Pebby" Imdieke, age 81 of Melrose died Saturday, February 5, 2005 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 8 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Melrose with Rev. Vincent Lieser and Deacon Ernie Kociemba concelebrating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call Monday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 8 to 11 a.m. at Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose. Parish prayers will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday evening.

Dolores Imdieke was born November 15, 1923 to John and Mary (Wiebolt) Enneking in Melrose, Minnesota where she grew up and attended school. After graduating from Melrose High School, she worked as a bookkeeper at the Melrose Ford Motor Company. She married Ervin Imdieke on April 24, 1945 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Melrose. In 1950, they moved to Fingal, North Dakota where they owned and operated the Fingal Creamery until 1968 when they returned to Melrose. She worked as a bookkeeper for Kraft and MSI Insurance prior to retirement in 1985 and continued to be active in her church and community until her death. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Melrose and the Catholic Order of Foresters.

Pebby will be greatly missed by her loving family: son, Jack Imdieke and his wife, Ellen of Wayne, NE, Sharon Maasjo and her husband, Brad of Fargo, ND and Judy Gist and her husband, Reed of Elk River; six grandchildren; one step grandchild; and one great grandchild.

Pebby was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ervin Imdieke on November 14, 1997; one sister; and two brothers.

Serving as casket bearers will be Kristi Maasjo, Kim Kankiewicz, Jeff Maasjo, Mike Imdieke, Greg Krein, Aimee Krein, Karl Ruehle and Ben Kociemba. Serving as cross bearer will be Joan Henry and scripture bearer will be Samantha Kociemba. Honorary bearers will be Celesta Zenzen, Rita Enneking, Julia Westendorf and the Catholic Order of Foresters.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Melrose or American Heart Association.
