Dianna L. Hoffman, age 52 of St. Cloud, formerly of Sauk Centre and Aberdeen, South Dakota, died unexpectedly Thursday, April 5, 2007 at St. Michael's Hospital in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 10 at Zion Lutheran Church in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Pastor Marcia Sylvester will officiate with interment following in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Aberdeen.
Friends may call at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Further visitation will be held at the Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home in Aberdeen from 1 to 7 p.m. Monday and at the church one hour prior to the service. There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home in Aberdeen.
Dianna was born October 26, 1954 in Warrensburg, Missouri to Merrill and Maureen (Farmen) Holler. She grew up in the Roslyn, South Dakota area and graduated from Roslyn High School in 1972. After graduation she moved to Aberdeen, South Dakota where she was employed as a teller by Home Federal Bank, formerly known as United Federal. She was later employed by Aberdeen Credit Bureau. On October 11, 1980 she married Jerry Hoffman at Zion Lutheran Church in Aberdeen. They moved to Sauk Centre, Minnesota in 1999, where she was employed by Sauk Centre Web Printing. Since 2006 they had resided in St. Cloud, Minnesota.She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in St. Cloud. She was a former member of First Lutheran Church in Sauk Centre, where she served on the church council and was a member of the choir, and a former member of Zion Lutheran Church in Aberdeen.Dianna loved music and sang in her church choirs. She also enjoyed golf, playing cards, snow skiing and following her sons sporting activities.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Hoffman of St. Cloud; two sons, Ryan (girlfriend, Kari Boeson) Hoffman and Kevin (fiance, Ruth Kooiker) Hoffman, both of St. Cloud; sisters and brothers, Karen Holler of Taylors Falls, Minnesota, Pamela Bartelt of Waubay, South Dakota, Lori (Terry) Kulesa of Grenville, South Dakota, Lisa Hawkinson of Watertown, South Dakota, Cynthia (Greg) Knebel of Roslyn, South Dakota, Jean (Jay) Haaland of Warner, South Dakota, Jerome Holler of San Jose, California, Michael (Mary) Holler of Big Lake, Minnesota and Mark Holler of Wichita Falls, Texas; mother-in-law, Wilma (Roger) Hoffman Zimmerman of Aberdeen, South Dakota; and sister-in-law, Rose (Rod) Wiedrich of Mina, South Dakota.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Serving as casket bearers will be Brandon Hawkinson, Wade Kulesa, Darwin Bartelt, Mitchell Haaland, Tyler Haaland, Garret Knebel, Adam Kulesa, Mitchell Holler, Jordan Holler and Weston Wiedrich.Honorary bearers will be Tracy Nelson, Deborah Peltier, Amanda Bartelt, Rachel Holler, Alyssa Holler, Alaina Kulesa, Amy Hawkinson, Kristin Hawkinson, Candice Knebel and Shannon Knebel.
