Dee A. Stone, age 67 of Sartell, formerly of Sauk Centre died Saturday, July 21, 2012 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 26 at Country Manor in Sartell with Rev. Ken Ferber officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Sauk Centre.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Country Manor.
Dee Anne Long was born February 28, 1945 in Spencer, Iowa to Everett and Albertine (Galbraith) Long. Her family moved to Sauk Centre on November 3, 1955 when she was ten years old. Dee lived in Sauk Centre until she moved to Country Manor in Sartell in 2001. Dee waitressed at various places for 23 years and then worked at Jennie-O Turkey Store in Melrose for 14 years. Her favorite color was purple and she loved going to garage sales, gardening, fishing, crafting, reading, playing cards and BINGO, shopping, watching T.V., and listening to music. She also enjoyed volunteer work and visiting with family.
Survivors include her daughter, Roseanne (Rick Lewis) Morisch of Brainerd; granddaughter, Jennifer Morisch of Brainerd; sisters, Karen Worden of St. Cloud, Alberta Stetter of Winona, and Judy (Steve) Kathrein of Little Falls; and several nieces and nephews.
Dee was preceded in death by her first husband, Alan Swenson; second husband, Howard Stone; parents, Everett and Albertine Long; brother, Ronnie Long; and sisters, Toni Long and Donna Vait.
