David DuBois, great grandpa, grandpa, father, husband, brother, banker, duck hunter, avid reader, proud Democrat, community booster, died at the age of 90 Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at St. Michael's Hospital in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.
Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. and Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 24 at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. Afterward, family and friends will tell stories over lunch at Sauk Centre Country Club.
David worked in his family's bank, the First State Bank of Sauk Centre, and headed the insurance agency, the First State Agency. Like his father before him, he loved it so much he worked until just a few months ago.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Cecil; brother, Johnny; sisters, Laura and Mary; and grandson, Neil.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret; brother, Pat; children, Jeanne, John, and Lisa; sons-in-law, Thom and Rick; nine grandchildren; and one great grand child.
David was the most positive person on the planet. If he could, he'd give us that crooked smile (the result of polio), wink and tell us all that everything will be alright.
