Darlene Beck

Darlene M. Beck, age 80 of Sauk Centre, died Monday, February 25, 2008 at St. Michael's Nursing Home in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 28 at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre. A wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.Another visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 4 at the Gearty-Delmore Funeral Chapel at 3888 West Broadway in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. A wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.

Darlene Beck was born in Osakis, Minnesota to Herman and Elizabeth (Reller) Korf. She had been a waitress at Broadway Bar and Pizza in Minneapolis for 31 years before her retirement in 1993. Since 1993 she had resided on Sauk Lake, where she enjoyed sitting on her dock and fishing.

Survivors include three sons, Daniel (Debora) Beck of New Brighton, Douglas (Fran) Beck of Wilmington, North Carolina, and David (Susan) Beck of Minneapolis; six grandchildren; three great-grandchldren; sister, Evelyn Nierson of Rochester; brother, Harold Korf of San Francisco, California; half-brother, Louis (Brenda) Korf of Osakis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, George, Larry, and Edmund Korf; sisters, Louise Iverson, Ann Reznecheck, Esther Parks, Elaine Stockinger, Irma Olson, and Marie Korf.
