Daniel A. Bromenshenkel, age 52 of Sauk Centre, died Thursday, November 18, 2004 at St. Michael's Hospital in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, November 22 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. Rev. Todd Schneider will officiate with interment following in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Monday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre. Parish prayers will be at 5:15 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Dan Bromenshenkel was born on October 18, 1952 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota to Allan and Mildred (Meyer) Bromenshenkel. He was a 1970 graduate of Sauk Centre High School and then served in the U.S. Army. On August 14, 1976 he married Marilyn Wolbeck at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. He had been employed by Heartland Equipment in Sauk Centre since 1974. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, the church choir and Rejoice in Hymn musical group. He loved to read, enjoyed music and following high school sports, especially when his children participated.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Bromenshenkel of Sauk Centre; four children, Adam Bromenshenkel of Sauk Centre, Shawn (Paula) Bromenshenkel of Fargo, North Dakota, Sara (Chris) Tschida of Belgrade and Bryan Bromenshenkel of Sauk Centre; one grandson, Zachary Tschida; parents, Allan and Millie Bromenshenkel of Sauk Centre; brother and sisters, Ron (Donna) Bromenshenkel and Therese (Ken) Friedrichs, all of Sauk Centre, and Ann (Joe) Berling of Melrose.
Serving as casket bearers will be Eric Pesta, Steven Wolbeck, Isaac Berling, Mike Friedrichs, Andy, Jeff, Jason and Marcus Bromenshenkel. Cross bearer will be Dave Uphoff and scripture bearer will be Kristen Bromenshenkel.
