Clyde H. Shoultz, age 80 of Sauk Centre died Sunday, February 26, 2006 at St. Michael's Nursing Home in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 2 at Osakis Lutheran Church in Osakis with Rev. Ron Calvert officiating. Private interment will be at Hillside Cemetery in Minneapolis.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church in Osakis.
Clyde Shoultz was born April 18, 1925 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Harold and Gertrude (Gunter) Shoultz. He enlisted in the Navy during WWII at age 17 (1942), Water Tender Third Class. He married Betty Ann Castle on November 16, 1946 and was married for 56 years. He worked at Berger Transfer for 30 years as a truck driver and warehouse worker. Clyde was a member of Osakis Lutheran Church in Osakis. He was a talented artist, carpenter, and woodworker.
Survivors include his children, Daniel (Kathleen) Shoultz of Circle Pines and Pamela (Paul) Vasquez of Minneapolis; four granddaughters, Jennifer (Jacob) Searles, Karla (Rob) Glad, Dominique (Dominique) Connell, Rachel (Jason) Zaleski; seven great-grandchildren, Harper, Krissy, Marissa, Trevor, Cory, Gideon, and Gabriel; sister, Kathy (Lowell) Fischer of Zimmerman; and many relatives and friends.
Clyde was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty Ann on November 4, 2002; brother, Leslie Thomas Shoultz; and sister, Muriel Halvorson.
Memorials are preferred to St. Michael's Hospice in Sauk Centre.
