Claude Wiener

Claude H. Wiener, age 80 of St. Cloud, died Thursday, May 10, 2012 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 15 at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Sauk Centre with Rev. James Statz officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the mass at the church in Sauk Centre.Claude Herman Wiener was born September 7, 1931 in Raymond Township, Stearns County, Minnesota to Leonard and Amanda (Spaeth) Wiener. Claude farmed near Padua until 1954. He then worked at WACOSA until 1996 when he started going to the Whitney Senior Center where he enjoyed playing BINGO and painting blocks for children.

Claude was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral in St. Cloud. He loved crushing pop cans and was a John Deere man.

Survivors include his brothers, Julian Wiener of Sauk Centre and Jim Wiener of St. Cloud; and sisters, Judy (Norbert) Odegard of Sauk Centre and Sally Pawlak of Arizona.

Claude was preceded in death by his parents.
