Christopher J. Hansen, age 27, of Sartell died as the result of a work related accident at the Jennie-O Turkey Store in Melrose, Minnesota on Thursday, February 2, 2006.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 7 at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Sauk Centre with Rev. James Statz officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 8 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre. Parish prayers will be at 6 p.m. followed by Christian Mothers at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Christopher J. Hansen was born February 2, 1979 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota to Daniel and Jaculin (Spoden) Hansen. He graduated from Sauk Centre High School in 1997 and was employed by Jennie-O Turkey Store in Melrose. Christopher was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church. Christopher enjoyed golf, fishing, hunting, and playing poker.
Survivors include his father, Daniel (Jessi) Hansen of Sauk Centre; mother, Jaculin (Mike) Spoden-Bolz of Sauk Centre; brothers, Shane (Angela) Hansen of Sartell, Jamie Hansen of Sartell and Daniel Hansen of Sauk Centre; sister, Jaculin Bolz of SauK Centre; step-brothers and step-sisters, Theresa Legatt of Anoka, Brian and Tiffany Legatt of Albany, Chuck (Michelle) Bolz of Sauk Centre and Eric Bolz of Sauk Centre; and grandparents, Donovan (Cele) Hansen of Sauk Centre.
He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Vernon Spoden; grandma, Jean Ziehl; and cousin, Dallas Fix.
Casket bearers will be Roger, Jake, and Randy Middendorf, Terry Swenson, Josh Springer, and Douglas Fix. Serving as cross bearer will be Jackie Bolz.
