Charles Francis Reynolds was born January 27, 1926 in Willmar, Minnesota, the son of Thomas Patrick and Sarah Alice (Tuggle) Reynolds. As a young man, Chuck served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. On October 30, 1948, Chuck was united in marriage to Norma Jean Novak and they had three children, Janet, Sandra, and Chuck. Chuck worked as a grocer his entire career and owned and operated the Red Owl Grocery Store in Sauk Centre for some time. He was widowed in 1970. In 1973, he married Marian S. (Wiener) Schlotfeldt, who had four children, Brenda, Bryan, Beth, and Barb. Chuck and Marian enjoyed spending time with their blended family. For 20 years, they also were volunteer drivers for Tri-Cap in Stearns County. Marian preceded him in death on September 16, 2014.

Charles was member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre.

Survivors include his blended family, Janet (Lynn) Engle, Sandra (Barry) Evans, Brenda (Kevin McCauley) Fiereck, Bryan (Teresa) Schlotfeldt, Chuck (Debi) Reynolds, Beth (Dan) Watson, and Barb (Duane) Pettit; 11 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Norma Reynolds, and Marian Reynolds; one grandson; his parents; and three brothers, Tom Reynolds, George Reynolds, and Edward "Teddy" Reynolds.

Serving as casket bearers will be his grandsons, Tim Engle, Chris Engle, Jeremy Evans, Ken Reynolds, Nathan Reynolds, Cole Watson, and Daniel Pettit. Stacy Evans will serve as Cross bearer while Danielle Kreemer is the Bible bearer for the funeral mass. Brittany Pettit will read the scripture readings and prayed the petitions. Meghan Reiman and her family will present the communion gifts during the funeral Mass.

A contribution made to Catholic Charities in Chuck's honor is a wonderful way to commemorate his life.
