Carol Reber

Carol J. Reber, age 72 of Albany, died Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the Mother of Mercy Nursing Home in Albany, Minnesota.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 25 at Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Albany with Rev. Michael Naughton, O.S.B. officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the Seven Dolors Gathering Area in Albany. Parish prayers will be at 4:30 p.m. followed by the Christian Mothers at 6 p.m. Sunday evening.

Carol Jean Hadrich was born March 27, 1940 in Holdingford, Minnesota to George and Christine (Buettner) Hadrich. She graduated from Holdingford High School in1957. On September 5, 1960 she married George Reber at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Holdingford. Carol worked part-time at the bakery and insurance office in Albany, but mostly stayed at home and raised her family.

She was a member of Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Albany, Christian Mothers, and the Red Hat Society. Carol enjoyed gardening and was an excellent cook and baker. She loved listening and dancing to old time music and was a wonderful grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, George Reber of Albany; daughter, Debra (Tom Mullenmeister) Luzier of Sartell; son, Steve Reber of Albany; grandchildren, Braxton, Brant, and Brock Luzier of Sartell; brothers and sisters, George J. (Sharon) Hadrich, Jr. of Avon, Harvey Hadrich of Avon, Dale (Corrine) Hadrich of Avon, Sharlene (David) Walberg of Avon, Gary (Dorothy) Hadrich of Avon, Lois (Ron) Schroden of St. Joseph, and Linda (Ed) Merkling of St. Joseph; and many nieces and nephews.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, George and Christine Hadrich.

Serving as casket bearers will be Steve Reber, Braxton Luzier, Brant Luzier, Brock Luzier, Tom Mullenmeister, and Mathew Mullenmeister. Cross bearer will be Joylnn Hadrich and scripture bearer will be Kim Lashinsai. Honorary bearers will be the Anniversary Group.
