C. Deters

Colton J. Deters, 13-month old son of Maggie Stepan and John Deters of Sauk Centre, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at St. Michael's Hospital in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 31 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. Rev. Todd Schneider will officiate with interment following in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 8 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre. Parish prayers will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.

Colton Deters was born February 20, 2007 in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Survivors include his parents; brother, Kalob Deters; grandparents, Dan and Jane Stepan, Mike Deters, and Sharon Klaphake; great-grandparents, Leona Pfeffer, Ferdi and Evelyn Stepan, Angeline Deters, and Bernice Proell; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandfathers, Al Pfeffer, Frank Deters, and Dave Proell.

Serving as casket bearers will be Ben and Travis Stepan, Shawn Deters, and Daryle Blencoe with Taylor Pfeffer as cross bearer.
