Bruce Terwey was born February 4, 1951 in Melrose, Minnesota to Roman and Frances (VanHavermaet) Terwey. He worked on the family ranch in Riggins, Idaho until 1985. While in Idaho, Bruce enjoyed steelhead fishing, white water rafting, and horseback riding in the mountains. He moved back to Grey Eagle in 1985 where he still enjoyed the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, four wheeling, and snowmobiling. He was quite the cook, especially when it came to grilling. Bruce was a very kind-hearted, gentle soul who never complained about anything and rarely got angry.
