Brandi L. Mikkelson, age 38 of Sauk Centre, died Thursday, September 20, 2007 of complications of Multiple Sclerosis at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 24 at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre with Rev. Marty Porter officiating.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre.

Brandi Mikkelson was born September 3, 1969 in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin to Corron and Priscilla (Kruger) Baker. She grew up in Sartell and was a graduate of Sartell High School. On August 31, 1990 she married Randall Mikkelson in Alexandria, Minnesota. The couple resided in Alexandria and then moved to Sauk Centre in 1991. She had been employed at Food N'Fuel for the past 12 years, serving as manager for the past five years.Brandi loved her three cats, Schmoota, Smokey, and Jazz. She also loved to go camping, swimming, and enjoyed sitting around a bonfire. She liked being with friends and family and playing with the neighbors dogs, Benny and Bailey. She especially liked to sit and relax with her husband, Randy, while holding hands.

Survivors include her husband, Randall "Randy" Mikkelson of Sauk Centre; son, Ryan Mikkelson, at home; parents, Corron and Priscilla (Kruger) Baker of Rice; three brothers, Craig Baker and his wife, Paula, and children, Breanna and Bryce, of Rochester, her twin brother, Chris Baker and his wife, Tammy, of St. Stephen, Scott Baker and his wife, Jessica, and children, Brandon and Mike, of Rice; grandparents, Elwyn and Jean Baker of Clinton, Arkansas, Jack and Betty Kruger of Marshfield, Wisconsin; aunts and uncles, John and Kathy Esgar of Ely, Steve Kruger of Marshfield, Wisconsin, Jo Ann and John Flynn of Sturgeon Lake; sister-in-law, Laurie Oberg and her husband, Gary, of Alexandria.

Honorary bearers will be Karen Achter, Sarah Horton, Shane and Scott Oberg, Kris and Jerry Marthaler.
