Beverly A. "Bev" Carpenter, age 81 of Sauk Centre, died peacefully surrounded by her family and a very close friend Saturday, November 21, 2009 at her home in Ashley Township, Stearns County, Minnesota.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 24 at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre with Rev. James Clausen officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre.
Beverly Ann Feucht was born October 13, 1928 in Grey Eagle Township, Todd County, Minnesota to Albert and Mildred (Zutter) Feucht. On April 17, 1949 she married Roger Carpenter at the United Brethren Church in Grey Eagle. The couple farmed in Ashley Township all of their married life.
She was a member of First United Church of Christ and the neighborhood ladies club. Bev loved bowling and she and Roger enjoyed traveling to square dances in the area.
Survivors include three children, Wayne Carpenter and Richard (Penny) Carpenter, all of Sauk Centre, and Marilyn (Chad) Rajdl of Brady, Nebraska; her mother, Mildred Feucht of Sauk Centre; seven grandchildren; brothers, Eugene Feucht of Brooklyn Center and Robert Feucht of Crookston.
She was preceded in death by her father; husband, Roger Carpenter on April 30, 2009; brother, James Feucht; and sisters, Marcy Davis and Marie Blank.
Serving as casket bearers will be her grandsons, Shane, Trent, Anthony, Dylan, and Spencer Carpenter, Tyler and Cody Rajdl. Honorary bearers will be Irene Wolf, Arlene Bailey, and Linda Christen.
