Bernice Houser

Bernice A. Houser, age 79 of New Munich died Friday, December 26, 2003 at St. Michael's Nursing Home in Sauk Centre.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 30 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Munich. Rev. Julius Beckermann, O.S.B. will officiate with burial at a later date.

Friends may call Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the church in New Munich.

Bernice Houser was born August 3, 1924 in New Munich to John and Caroline (Olmschenk) LeClaire. She was employed at the Veterans Hospital in Palo Alto, California for many years and retired in 1985. She enjoyed canning food from the garden. Bernice was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Munich.

Survivors include her brothers, George LeClaire of New Munich and Edwin LeClaire of St. Cloud.

Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, John and Caroline LeClaire; brothers and sister, Arnold LeClaire, Raymond LeClaire, Erma Albaugh, and Walter LeClaire.

Serving as casket bearers will be Ron LeClaire, Jim LeClaire, Perry LeClaire, Luke LeClaire, Jess LeClaire, and Larry LeClaire. Serving as cross bearer will be Karen Rademacher and scripture bearer will be Bridget Worms.
