Barbara M. Muellner, age 87 of Grey Eagle, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, May 23, 2014 at her daughter's home in St. Stephen, Minnesota.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 27 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Grey Eagle with Rev. Ronald Dockendorf officiating. Interment will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls.
Friends may call Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church in Grey Eagle. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m. Monday evening at the church.
Barbara Marie Rottman was born June 2, 1926 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Bernard and Sophie (Gallas) Rottman. On June 28, 1947 she married Raymond Muellner at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in St Paul. Barbara worked for the Pearson's Candy Company for a number of years but mostly enjoyed being a homemaker. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Grey Eagle. Barbara enjoyed playing the organ, embroidering, working cross word and jig saw puzzles, going for walks, traveling, shopping, and loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children, Cindy (Gary) Kerfeld of St. Stephen, and Diane (Jim) Wolfe of Evansville, Indiana; grandchildren, Nicole, Desiree, Tanya, Steve, Jeff, Jacob and Matthew; 11 great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Cathy Muellner of North St. Paul.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Muellner on May 2, 2008; parents; son, Donald Muellner; brothers and sisters, Dorthy, Louise, Leroy, Robert, Raymond, Francis, and George.
Serving as casket bearers will be Jacob Muellner, Matt Muellner, Steve Wolfe, Jeff Wolfe, Cory Bengston, Eric Abraham and Chad Klocker. Cross bearer will be Nicole Klocker and scripture bearer will be Alexandra Wolfe.
