Aurelia Kind

Aurelia B. Kind, age 91, of Melrose, died Friday, August 7, 2009 at Pine Villa Care Center in Melrose, Minnesota.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 22 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Melrose with Rev. Kevin Mann officiating. Inurnment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Melrose.

Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Aurelia Bertha Kind was born November 27, 1917 in Melrose, Minnesota to William and Christiana (Discher) Kind. Aurelia attended Melrose schools to the 10th grade and started working at Lamberton Grocery Store in 1946 until her retirement. In 2005, she moved from Pine Haven to Pine Villa Care Center.Aurelia was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Melrose. She loved flowers and traveling.

Survivors include her nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and a great-great-great nephew.

Aurelia was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Fred, William, and Gerhard "Gib" Kind; sisters, Mary Hellickson, Anna Kind, Selma Kind, and Hilda Otte.
